This a family business owned an operated by an Active duty 8404 Corpsman who has served with the Marines and deployed to Iraqi in support of OIF. This is our way of giving back to our Sailors, Marines and Battle buddies as well as promoting the Marine Recon paddle tradition.
We hope that our paddles are presented to the most deserving individuals for appropriate occasions. Some of these occasions include promotions, retirements, separations, detachments and extraordinary achievements
Recon paddle tradition began with the Recon Marines early in the Marine Corps history and later spread to the rest of the Corps and the US Navy. The original paddles did not have any rope work on them, which came along as the different units personalized the paddles to reflect their work.
Military Paddles inc continues the same tradition with respect to the origin of the art. We use the 550 paracord to wrap the paddles and decorate with various nautical knots. Every paddle is handmade and unique. We offer a selection of colors on the rope work and knots.
